September 05, 2016
A man lost his life while trying to catch a bus driver who hit his car.
The man who was on his way to work never made it to the office following a regretful decision he made.
The man had reportedly had a run-in with a commercial bus driver(danfo) who brushed his car and tried to run away. Giving in to his anger, the deceased took off his shoes and proceeded to pursue the departing bus, a decision which led to his death.
Here’s what happened according to an eyewitness, Taiwo:
“This man died this morning at onigbongbo bus stop Maryland, a danfo brush his car, and this man left his car, remove his shoes and ran after the danfo, he try to hold the bus but the conductor push him away and another danfo coming hit him on his head and that was the end. Look at the man lying down and his car beside him, he left everything, pls learn how to let go, cos “bintin laye” he’s an MD in one of the nearby office.”

Fun Time:Top 20 pidgin slangs used in Nigeria with their meanings (See It Here)
September 02, 2016
There is no doubt Nigeria is a
country with diverse tribes;
these tribes have their own
culture and do things that are
exclusive to them. it is also
possible for a tribe in Nigeria
to say something and get
people outside the tribe
looking lost.
In major cities like Lagos,
Abuja and Portharcourt, it is
very rare for one to move round
without speaking pidgin or
hearing some pidgin slangs.
Since we have given you a piece
on some of the popular slangs
used in Nigeria and what they
mean, we would be checking out
some of the pidgin slangs used
in Nigeria and what they mean.
Find some of the pidgin slangs
below:
1. Fall my hand
This is a popular slang in
Nigeria. When the speaker says
no go fall my hand, he or she
means she does not want to be
disappointed. Nigerians often
use this phrase when conversing
with one another.
2. I go change am for you
As funny as this pidgin slang
sounds, it usually heard when
the speaker is giving out words
of warning. This is the speaker’s
way of asking someone to be
careful and not get him or her
angry.
When you hear this phrase in
Nigeria, do not think the
speaker is talking about change;
it could also be used in another
context where the speaker is
being lenient and is talking
about replacing an object.
3. Pepper don red
This is another popular slangs
Nigerian use while
communicating. When this
phrase is being used when
talking about a person, it means
the person’s luck has changed
and the person is richer.
4. Baff up
When Nigerians use this slang,
they are talking about someone
being nicely dressed. Baff up
could be substituted for Kak up
which means the same thing.
When this pidgin slang is heard,
the speaker is commending the
dress sense of a person.
5. Bust my skeroo
When this pidgin slang is heard,
the speaker is obviously a Warri
person or someone affiliated to
that part of the country. This
means to blow one’s mind. The
speaker is obviously amazed or
wowed by something.
6. Yan
This means talk or gist.
Sometimes the speaker could
say wetin you dey yan? This
means what are you talking
about? It is a slang used by
most Nigerians when pidgin is
being spoken.
7. Crash
This is another popular pidgin
slang used in Nigeria. Although
the word itself is an English
word, when it is being strung
along with other pidgin words, it
means to sleep. It is talking
about the speaker’s tiredness
and the need to rest or sleep.
8. You dey kolo
This means someone is crazy.
This means whoever the
speaker is referring to needs to
have his or her head checked.
It is a popular slang in Nigeria
and people often use it while
teasing themselves about a
particular situation or thing.
9. Yanga or effizy
This slang means to be
boisterous or pompous. It is
quite possible for someone who
does not understand pidgin or
the slangs used in Nigeria to be
completely lost while he or she
is being analyzed with this
language.
As a result of the popularity of
this slang, a Nigerian who reside
in his home country would
understand this.
10. Fabu
Oh boy no dey give me that kind
fabu. This sentence is warning
someone off lying. Fabu means
lie; and as used in the example
above, it means the speaker is
aware of the gist being fake
and is expressing his or her
disbelief.
11. Gbege
Gbege means trouble. It could
be used along with some other
words or said as is it is. it could
be substituted with the word
‘gobe’ which means the same
thing. Nigerians often use it
while conversing.
12. Demor
This means to show off; some
Nigerians indeed like to pose or
demor with things that do not
belong to them. This means to
act up and pretend to be
something one is not.
13. The shenkiz dem jst dey
matrix
The word shenkiz or cury is
used to refer to ladies or girls.
This pidgin slang as expressed
above means the girls are
tripping. The speaker must have
identified a group of girls who
are interested in him or
something he has.
14. Jones
Do not mistake this word for
the name of a person even
though it is in reality. When
this is used as slang, it is talking
about someone or a group of
people not being smart in a
particular situation. Babe, you
don jones. The speaker is
talking about someone not
seizing the opportunity where
he or she ought to.
15. Shak up
This slang means to be drunk or
to consume a large amount of
alcohol. The word could also be
substituted for the word ‘shayo’
which means the same thing.
16. Jack
This slang is popularly used
among students in Nigeria. It
means to read.
17. Waka
Waka means to walk. Whatever
follows this slang would now
indicate how fast or slow the
person being talked about is
moving. When the word is being
duplicated, it could mean
aimless movement around the
town.
18. All join
When you hear this pidgin slang,
it is talking about a collective
item or group of things. It
means everything is included.
19. Aproko
This is slang means to gossip.
Anybody who is fond of talking
about other people’s businesses
and affairs is labelled as an
aproko.
20. Sort
When this slang is being used
while speaking pidgin it means
to bribe someone. When police
officers ask drivers to sort
them while driving, they want to
be bribed.

August 31, 2016
Wizkid rise from obscurity to stardom is one that would make you want to work even harder but Wizkid is no superhuman neither does he have two heads or have the best voice in Nigeria, but because he made use of what he has within and all that surrounds him.
To be successful in the music industry you need more than just talent and money for you to blow. Wizkid is one of those successful artiste that knows how to play his cards right and he always comes out on top even when the media tries to bring him down.
Every up and coming artistes who is aiming to reach the height of Wizkid and want to get all the hype and exposure should read this article because you would definitely learn one or two things which you can use to improve yourself. Learn from people who have been there and seen it all in order to walk in the same footstep of their success. Enjoy reading and don’t forget to leave your comment if you have anything you want to contribute.
1. Be Humble
Right from the days of ‘Holla at your boy’ till now, Wizkid is still one of the most humble artiste you will ever find in this country, looking at all the things he has accomplished and all the fame and fortune he has accrued for himself. Any other artistes in his shoes would fill like a god and would begin to act like a King among st his peers and colleagues. Wizkid still hangs out with his friends and fans anytime he is in the country and he respects everyone accordingly.
When he was still in EME he was the starboy in the team but he still flowed with everyone and made music with any artistes that wants him on their song. Wizkid has never been reported to be rude to anyone before and this trait is what has been bringing him favour and making people to like him the more.
If you are an upcoming artiste and you are already feeling proud and important with yourself because you have a few fans, then you need to rethink and re-strategize because people would only help you when you are humble and friendly.
2. Be Unique/Standout
Take a look at all the big artistes in Nigeria today from Adekunle Gold, Falz, Wizkid, 2Face Idibia, Olamide, Simi and Banky W you would realize that all these artistes have something unique about themselves both in their music and in their style. If you are an upcoming artistes learn from Wizkid because he is unique from other artistes. He recreated his own style of music from the already existing afrobeat and afrohiphop genre and owned his sound which other artistes now tries to copy.
There can never be another Wizkid so also there can never be another you. You are also unique, try and find that special thing about you that others don’t have and use it to your advantage. Let people be amazed when they listen to your music or wowed when they see your performance on stage. Small Doctor is a lovely example of a unique artiste who created his own niche and today he is making a lot of money from it. So be you and you alone. Be unique!!!!
3. Be Fashionable
Wizkid is still one of Nigeria’s most fashionable artiste and he will always be because he pays total attention to his dressing and always sets new trends. You can never catch Wizkid dressing shabbily, he is always on point in his dressing. Just like the popular saying “You are addressed from the way you are dressed”. People would come to you and want to associate with you when you are well dressed. Nobody wants to associate anyone who doesn’t look good. So as an artiste you can only attract favour and important people who can help your musical career when you are dressed well and look like a star even when you are not. Good attracts good, while bad attracts bad, it’s a normal theory which you can’t discard. So if you want to make it fast in the music industry you need to start dressing like a superstar that you want to become.
4. Be Controversial
These days controversies sells and it sells faster than any other marketing mechanism. You hardly find any top artistes who is not controversial, is it Wizkid?, Davido?, 2Face Idibia?, Olamide? or even Tiwa Savage?. This is just to show you that in other to be a big star in the industry you will need to have something that your fans can talk about.
Nigerians like gossips and they follow only the ones that can give them plenty of it. Wizkid is very controversial, from his baby mama story, to his bashing of his expensive cars and getting a replacement some days after to dating top female celebrities and some social media fights with top celebrities etc.
So as an upcoming artistes you need to put some spice into your brand for people to keep talking about you. Singing and performing is not everything but adding a few spice to your brand goes a long way to keep you relevant.
5. Be Social Media Savvy
If you want to be a celebrity then you need to start learning to put yourself and your activities in the public eyes. And the only way to do this is to make use of your social media platforms like facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube, google plus and other social media sites. Wizkid doesn’t joke with his social media that a day hardly goes by without him posting something on any of his social media accounts.
Try and be like Wizkid even with his busy schedule he still finds time to share a picture of himself with his fans just to always keep the connection with them. If he can do it how much you who is not as busy as he is. Being a star musician is not a one day job you need to work really hard. If you are an aspiring artistes and you don’t have at least two or three of these social media accounts; facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, youtube and soundcloud then you are not yet ready for the task of being a superstar.

The World Is Coming To An End: See pictures of the man who had surgery to get horns
August 30, 2016
Some people just want to be what they are not; they are not satisfied with their physical appearances and would do everything they could to make them look different.
Permit us to be a bit cynical with this piece. It would not be out of place for us to be this way judging by the fact that one cannot really comprehend the reason why some people would choose to look like an animal despite being made a higher animal by the creator of all things.
This post is about a young man who had a surgery to get horns on his head. This could be a bit unsettling; why on earth would anyone choose to tamper with his natural looks by having horns on his head when he was not born with one? It is really mind boggling to think anyone would love beasts and animals so much he would be willing to switch places with them.
The young man in this piece is a Jamaican artist, he is known as Furtyle Brain. He wanted to change his looks so he consulted a Canadian surgeon who helped with the implantation of the horns.
The most logical explanation for this would be to accept that the world is indeed coming to an end. No one can really understand why any rational being would decide to have horns implanted in his head when he is not dressed up for Halloween.
Finding the reason for his action may take the whole day as you may never be able to fully understand his reasons. Thus, trying to think like Furtile Brain may be a futile endeavour. For something to be described as futile means it is incapable of producing any useful result.
Why thinking about his reasons, try not to wonder what could have happened to his brain in the process if the surgery had gone wrong. You never can tell, the horn may be a source of inspiration to him for his musical career.
Find below pictures of the man who had surgery to get horns:
1. Warrisdis?
What do you think of this?
2. Is this for a goat or ram?
Let us deal with this carefully; this horn belongs to an animal. Do you know what animal it is?
3. The world is coming to an end
Why would a good looking young man decide to trade his looks for that of an animal? That is food for thought.

Ebonyi Governor’s Brother, Two Others Arrested Over N400million Campaign Fund. (See Reason Why):
August 30, 2016
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday arrested one Austin Umahi, brother to the current governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, along with two others – Chinyere Egwuche and Mabel Dikibo – over a N400million slush fund linked to the 2015 presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The suspects, all staff of Brass Engineering & Construction Nigeria Limited and Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort, were arrested for refusing to honour invitations by the EFCC over an ongoing investigation of both companies.
While Austin Umahi doubles as chairman of both companies, Chinyere Egwuche and Marbel Dikibo are also signatories to the companies’ accounts.
EFCC investigators alleged that the Director of Finance of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Nenadi Usman released N400million to the Ebonyi State chapter of the PDP for the 2015 presidential election.
The said fund, the investigators said, was moved from Fidelity Bank Abakaliki on March 27, 2015, to an Access Bank, Abakaliki, account, where one Maxwell Umahi further moved N100, 000,000 and N300, 000,000 respectively into the accounts of Brass Engineering & Construction Nigeria Limited and Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort respectively.
One of the suspects, Chinyere Egwuche, subsequently withdrew the N300 million paid into the account of Osborn La-Palm, which according to her was used to finance the construction of Osborn La-Palm Hotels in Abakaliki, Uburu and Port Harcourt, while the N100 million paid into the account of Brass Engineering and Construction Nigeria Limited was transferred to a certain David Umahi Faith Foundation.
Although investigation is still ongoing, EFCC operatives said the companies to which the funds were transferred were traced to the Ebonyi State governor.

Aww! Lagos Internal Revenue Service Chairman Sacked For Fraud(See post here)
August 29, 2016
After 11 months in office as Chairman, Lagos Board of Internal Revenue and Chief Executive, Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), Mr. Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, has been sacked from office. An internal memo communicating Ogunsanwo’s departure from the revenue-collection agency dressed up his exit “retirement.” Dated 26 August and signed by J. Aina, Board Secretary, the memo told staff that Ogunsanwo was proceeding on retirement from 25 August and had handed over to Mrs. Akintola Bolaji, Director, Tax Audit.
The memo, however, was not offering the staff information that they did not have. It has become clear to them since early July that Ogunsanwo, who boasted on appointment that he would double the state’s internally generated revenue, was not going to be in the seat for much longer. Sources in the LIRS said Ogunsanwo could not account for about N4. 2 billion was belonging to the agency.
This was said to have earned him a query from Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, who was not impressed with Ogunsanwo’s response. He was told to proceed on compulsory leave pending the conclusion of investigations into the sun unaccounted for.
During the investigation, Ogunsanwo, disclosed sources, refunded the sum of N1.2 billion. His decision to cooperate with the investigators, explained sources, was a major reason the government spared him the embarrassment of being exposed.
Ogunsanwo succeeded Mr. Tunde Fowler, who was appointed Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). Shortly after resuming office, he took an axe to the structure inherited from his predecessor, sacking many top staff hired by Fowler.

Unilag Student Faces 2 To 4 Semesters Rustication For Social Media Post (See What He Posted)
August 28, 2016
A student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Adeyeye Olorunfemi of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences department of Building has been rusticated for 4 semesters for criticising the management of the institution.
It will be recalled that the authorities of the institution recently rusticated 11 executive members of the school’s Students’ Union executives, including its president, Muhammed Olaniyan, over the April 2016 protest.
The affected students were rusticated between two and four semesters, which took effect from the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic session.
Those serving two-semester penalty were informed to apply for readmission at the beginning of the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic session, while those that are out for four semesters are advised to reapply in the second semester of 2017/2018 academic session.
One of the students, Adeyeye Olorunfemi ’s was suspended for criticising the leadership of the institution on their inability to manage situations as “democrats”.
The student expressed his mind in his article titled, ” The Senate of the University of Lagos; a Conglomeration of Academic Ignorami ”.
The article reads:-
Title:- The Senate of the University of Lagos; a Conglomeration of Academic Ignorami.
The University of Lagos prides itself as a cosmopolitan University and over the years has maintained the status quo of excellence among her peers in Nigeria and the world at large. I promise not to make this BOMB as lengthy and circuitous as my last post on this medium. I will also make it as lucid as possible.
I mentioned in my last article WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THE GREAT NIGERIA STUDENTS the jejunity of the Mission statement of the UNILAG,Hardly had I finished the article when the whole statement of mine started receiving fulfillment .One would call me a prophet!.
I now see the reason for the backwardness of my Nation, we blame those at the corridor of “power” forgetting those at the corridor of “education”; the corridor of “common sense “.I am a discussant of History and it has made me realise that from time immemorial, whenever there is problem in the society ,tertiary institutions are places of solace, they are citadels of solutions.
Government would go to schools to consult undergraduates, lecturers; professors as they posed to be the backbone of the society. Now, Nigeria is in shambles, the economy is crumbling, where is Dr Nduibisi Nwokoma of the Economics department?, Buhari is still waiting for your economic model computation and those econometrics rubbish theories you teach your students
Prof. G.L Oyekan!.., there is infrastructural decay!. Prof. Idoro Godwin, buildings are collapsing and projects are poorly handled!. This is not project planning class where you come to disturb students with your unending battery of questions e.g What is Objective? ..answer- Objective is ….Question 2- What is “is”?. What a comedian!
Vice Chancellor sir!, you remain a first class Chemical engineering graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.What has happened to the Great Ife in you!. Our power generation is deteriorating and you are alive . The Nation’s investment of knowledge on you to make you a scholar is a WASTE. Your first class honours degree is the true definition of a FIASCO.
That’s by the way,the protest that led to Senate’s resolution to dissolve the Student Union and the forceful blood covenant Oath-taking was a peaceful one. One that started on a calm note with the intention to end in a day only if the DSA or VC came to talk to the students during the act. The Egocentricity of an African man would not just allow them to come, They are PhD holders. I call them ACADEMIC IGNORAMUSES! .
The irresponsibility, insensitivity and irresponsiveness to the welfare of the students of the VC and his mis MANAGEMENT have shown that they are all misfits when it comes to parenthood.
They all stood up when the former mistake we had as president tried to rename Unilag to Maulag because the brand UNILAG gives them the pride they need to sleep with any girl-student and admission-seekers effortlessly. These are the goings-on in Unilag, let the world know!. The likes of Ogbinaka Karo were ready to tear down the nation if the renaming was not revoked.
Now, this is our own issue; Welfarism, we can’t find them. Are they telling me that the Name issue is greater than Welfarism. Is the aesthetics of a building more important than the structural stability? , If you don’t know, go ask the MD, Lekki Gardens.
My secondary school teacher once told me that during his days at the University of Ibadan, they protested when the chicken on their breakfast meal was reduced to 1 instead of the usual 2. For Christ’s sake ,was it this same Nigeria? .
We never asked for all these things Bello and his cohorts enjoyed, all we asked for was water/light and all we could get from a sensible Senate is the threat of expulsion. Are there no “common sense” persons in the management anymore? .We mourn late Prof. Ayodele Awojobi freshly..
I promised not to make this too lengthy but I stand in this era for change as I don’t want to be much too a victim of circumstances because I have never gained anything from this system of education. I learn everything myself just like most of us. My lecturers are too busy to teach but are very ready to threaten you with failure. Where is Julius Faremi? .
I am ready not as Adekunle Gold but as an active citizen for any step they might want to take against me. E e ba mi ni’be. I remain Adeyeye Olorunfemi.

How to Get More Followers and Likes on Instagram
We’ll show you how to get more followers on instagram in just a few easy steps!Instagram is quickly becoming the new Facebook. The more followers and Likes someone can generate per picture on Instagram, the greater their posts visibility.
However, with so many people posting pictures every second of every day, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd.
Whether you’re trying to grow a presence on Instagram for business purpose, or you just want to gain a lot of followers and became an Insta-Star, there are a few ways to approach the situation. Here’s how to start getting more followers and likes on Instagram.
The Basics There are a few basic things to understand about Instagram that you need to know before trying to become an Instagram rock star.Once you’ve got the basics under wraps, the more complicated aspects will be easy to handle.
Hashtags Many people don’t know anything about posting photos on Instagram. They assume it’s simply a matter of quickly snapping a shot and posting it, but unless they already have a decent following, it isn’t likely that anyone will see the photo. Instagram works much like Twitter when it comes to labeling photographs – while there is much more than a 140 character limit, hashtags are vitally important. Adding relevant hashtags will allow users searching for specific types of photographs to find yours. On the other hand, using hashtags that don’t have anything to do with the image can alienate potential followers.
Make note – Facebook is beginning to implement hashtag use into its formula, so you’ll see them become much more common as time goes on. Get used to using them now, and you’ll be ahead of the curve.
Connect Facebook with InstagramMore than 20% of all Instagram users also use Facebook, and quite a few of them post images to FacebookthroughInstagram. By linking the two accounts, you can gain followers from Facebook. Anecdotal evidence places the number around 3% of your Facebook friends; however, requesting that people follow you can increase that number.
Another way to gain followers from Facebook is to ask Instagram to post images to Facebook at the same time you upload them to the service. The second phase of the image-uploading process allows you to do this with a single click of a button.
Numerous experiments have shown that liking thousands of photos per day will bring in a high number of Instagram followers. However, this can be very tedious, and you often gain a large number of bots as followers – around 16.6% or so, according to some sources. However, this can be one of the most effective ways of growing a following.
Commenting on pictures is a much more effective way of getting a response than simply liking it. It makes you memorable, and the receiver is more likely to respond to you and follow.
Fill out your profile. When you first sign up for Instagram, you’re given the option to write a short bio. This filed only has a 150 character limit, but you should take advantage of it. Filling it out with a few important details about who you are increases the chance that someone will follow you; people are interested in other people, not one-dimensional faces.
Understanding HashtagsNow that you understand how hashtags are meant to be used, you need to understand something else: the most popular tags are not necessarily the best. Here is a list of the most popular Instagram hashtags:
1.#love
2.#instagood
3.#nofilter
4.#me
5.#tbt
6.#cute
7.#photooftheday
8.#instamood
9.#iphonesia
10.#picoftheday
11.#girl
12.#tweegram
13.#beautiful
14.#instadaily
15.#summer
16.#instagramhub
Taking a look at the hashtags, it’s easy to understand why they may be so popular. Most of the commonly used hashtags promote happiness and joy; however, this also means that literally thousands of photographs are being posted every second using these same tags. While certain ones like #bestoftheday or #photooftheday might work to bring attention to your photos, you should try to avoid bland, non-descriptive tags such as #girl or #beautiful.
Instead, focus on a very specific naming system. Instead of posting a photograph of your dog with the tag #dog, label it as #germanshepherd or #yorkie. This way, you’re targeting a much more closely grouped subset of people than if you take the more scattershot approach with broad categories.
Do Your Research.Skim through photographs like the one you want to post and find out what common tags they share. An example taken from the Instagram blog shows that users posting images of Volkswagen vans use #vw as a tag almost twice as much as the actual world.
A good rule of thumb is, the less pictures that show up with that hashtag, the less popular it is. However, if it has consistent activity, it’s a good way to find a very specialized niche of people
Tell a story. One of the most popular groups to follow on Instagram is National Geographic, and if you pay attention, they don’t simply post a photo and go on their way. While an image may be worth 1000 words, having a bit of explanation to go along with that image can help readers understand and relate to it much more easily. There is no character limit to Instagram descriptions, so feel free to make it the story as long as you want; however, make sure it is also relevant. Don’t wander off on tangents. For example, if you were to post an image of a sunset, you could include this story:
“We had just crested the top of the hill and struck #camp after 8 hours of hiking. Tired yet happy, I took a few moments away from setting up the tent to snap this shot of the #sunset over the #Alps.”
That’s much more appealing than just saying, “Look at this sunset!” And take note – hashtags are used in that story. The placement of hashtags has no effect on their usefulness, and placing them throughout the story allows you to implement them more effectively, instead of shoving as many as possible in at the bottom of the description.
Get Your Pictures Right: When it comes to the actual pictures you post, there are a few ways you can hit the nail on the head each and every time. Here’s what to do.
Post images that people relate to.Like all of social media, Instagram is a way for people across the globe to connect with one another. Posting pictures that are human, such as someone you love laughing or a beloved pet making a goofy face, are things everyone can relate to. At the same time, a stunning sunrise can have the same effect as a field full of stars. However, don’t be afraid to let a bit of emotion bleed through into the photo; it’s part of the human condition, and people are more likely to follow that.
Post them at the right time.Social media experts have long noted trends in activity levels. If you want the most recognition for the least effort, you need to make sure you post your pictures at just the right time. On Instagram, this tends to be Wednesday between 5 and 6 PM – although more people post on Thursday, they seem to be more active in the evenings on Wednesday more than any other day in the week. Your photo will only show up for a few hours before it is completely buried by others, so you have to make the most of the limited window of time. When you post your photo, don’t just end it. Include a call to action at the end, such as “Double Tap to Like” will increase the number of likes you receive. This is a common tactic in sales psychology, and you often hear it on television commercials in the form of, “Call this toll free number today!” There’s a reason it is used so often: it works.
Keep to a shtick. Many of the most famous posters on Instagram have one theme their posts tend to revolve around. If you can develop a theme like this for yourself, you’ll gain more followers very quickly. For some people, this means posting a lot of selfies. For others, this can mean hundreds of images of cute dogs. Whatever you decide to make your specialty, don’t veer too far away from it or you risk losing followers.
On the other hand, simply posting images about your day to day life and interests can also earn you a lot of followers. It makes you feel more like a real person rather than a source of entertainment for slow parts of the day.
Stick to a schedule.Posting regularly will earn you a lot of followers. If you go inactive, people will begin to think you are stopped using Instagram and unfollow you; however, if they know to expect a new photo once per week, then you can count on a steady increase.
Filter, filter, filter.Using the right filters for the right photos will earn you followers the old fashioned way: by making your images fun to see. Knowing what the right filter for an image is takes time, and largely depends on the sort of emotion you’re trying to evoke with the photo. However, Instagram has 20 filters already included in the app, and more are available through a variety of image editing programs. Don’t be afraid to experiment and find out what works for you.
Instagram is a rising star in the social media world, quickly gaining users to the point that it may soon compete with Facebook. Don’t miss out. By learning how to work the system now, you can become a superstar on Instagram and earn more likes and followers than you know what to do with.
